Waterfall roars back to life
AFTER recent soaking rain, one of Avoca's best-kept natural secrets has made a spectacular return.

The often dry Avoca Waterfall is once again cascading down the sandstone escarpment, drawing locals and photographers eager to witness the sight.
The seasonal waterfall only flows after significant rainfall, making each appearance a reminder of nature's timing and power.
Visitors have been making the short walk to catch the falls at their peak, with many describing the scene as magical as water tumbles through the lush bushland.
While the display is expected to continue for a short time, the waterfall will gradually slow as the catchment dries out.
Those planning a visit are urged to take care, as tracks and rocks around the falls can be extremely slippery after rain.
Authorities also remind visitors to stay on designated paths and avoid climbing on wet rock ledges.
